Walmart Canada is seeking a Self‑Checkout Attendant to support a positive shopping experience by assisting customers at self-checkout and maintaining a clean, safe area. You will promote program services and handle alarms and documentation as part of daily duties.

The role requires adaptability to evenings, weekends, and holidays, with a minimum rate starting at 15.85 CAD per hour. This is an on‑site position at 601 Carlton Trail, North Battleford, SK.

Position Summary

The Self‑Checkout Attendant supports a positive shopping experience by providing friendly, helpful service and assisting customers as they complete transactions in the self‑service checkout area. What you'll do

• Maintain Self Checkout Area Standards – Maintains a clean, safe, and organized self checkout area, ensuring it remains free of fixtures, unnecessary debris, foreign objects, and spills.
• Promote Walmart Programs and Initiatives – Supports the promotion of company sponsored programs, including credit card services, product protection plans, and charitable initiatives, when applicable.
• Support Customers at Self Checkout – Helps customers use self checkout quickly and confidently by offering assistance when needed, monitoring activity, and completing required checks. Clearly explain any interventions in a friendly, reassuring way and escape cash or technical issues to the Customer Service Manager.
• Respond to EAS Alerts and Complete Documentation – Responds to EAS alarms in accordance with procedures and accurately completes the “Failure to Deactivate” log.
• Manage Scan & Go Equipment – Ensures Scan & Go scanners are returned to their designated storage locations after use.
• Flexibility (Availability/Work Schedule) – Be open to working a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs. Your adaptability helps ensure the store runs smoothly and customers receive consistent, high‑quality service.

• Physical Demands – Performs physical tasks such as standing for extended periods, bending, and lifting inventory, equipment, or supplies weighing up to 20 lbs., and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
• Repetitive tasks such as stocking, zoning, and organizing products with attention to detail and consistency to uphold store standards.
