Job description
Responsibilities
  • Install, configure, and maintain security systems such as CCTV, access control and alarm systems for various properties and clients.
  • Provide technical expertise to test and troubleshoot systems.
  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on security equipment.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their security needs and recommend appropriate systems. Provide end user training and support as required.
  • Collaborate with IT and facilities teams to integrate security systems with network infrastructure.
  • The ability to travel within Canada will at times be asked to assist with client projects, however the priority will be to remain within your regional area.
  • As a front line representative of the company, you are expected to set a high level of professionalism when dealing with clients, owner’s representatives, as well as vendors when communicating and/or working within their facility.
  • Familiarize and adhere to all company safety policies, Occupational Health & Safety regulations and QA / QC procedures.
  • As the main point of contact for either a project or regional representative, all calls, work requests, scheduling and execution of work will filter through you.
  • Provide estimating assistance, assist with take-offs, preparation of schedules along with other project management functions.
Technical Requirements
  • Proficiency in installing and configuring CCTV, access control, and alarm systems
  • Strong troubleshooting and testing skills for security technologies
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and scopes of work
  • Familiarity with Occupational Health & Safety regulations and QA / QC procedures
  • Skilled in using digital tools and technology to optimize workflow
  • Experience with estimating, take-offs, and scheduling tasks
  • Capable of managing equipment and material logistics efficiently

  • Ability to assess client needs and recommend appropriate security solutions
  • Experience managing project execution, including scheduling and resource coordination
  • Willingness to travel within Canada for client projects
  • Availability for overtime, after-hours work, and on-call duties
