Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Shift Supervisor for our Distribution Centre in Delta, BC. You will supervise security officers, monitor CCTV and access control, and coordinate responses to incidents to maintain a safe, secure facility.

The role requires a BC Security Worker Licence, 3–4 years of security experience, and 1–2 years of supervisory experience, with strong leadership and customer-service skills. Part-time shifts include evenings and weekends in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Valid BC Security Worker Licence required.
• Previous 3-4 year security experience required.
• 1-2 year supervisory experience is an asset.
• Distribution centre, warehouse, logistics, or Amazon experience is an asset.
• Strong leadership, communication, observation, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with CCTV, access control, alarms, and incident reporting.
• Strong conflict-resolution and de-escalation skills.
• Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions during emergencies.
• Basic computer skills and ability to complete security reports.
• Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
• Reliable, professional, punctual, and customer-service oriented.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
