Job summary

Tenstorrent is seeking a motivated Security Engineer Intern to assist in managing and maintaining our Security and IT infrastructure. This on-site internship, based in Toronto, ON, offers hands-on experience across malware analysis, incident response, and security engineering while collaborating with experienced IT professionals.

You will gain exposure to SIEM, EDR, vulnerability management, and IAM platforms as part of building a modern cybersecurity program within a high-performance AI

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience through coursework, projects, or internships in malware analysis, incident response, IDS/IPS, security engineering, or IT help desk.
  • Understanding of IT fundamentals, including systems administration, networking, and cybersecurity principles.
  • Passionate about cybersecurity with strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

  • Support a variety of cybersecurity projects while maintaining flexibility, adaptability, and confidentiality.
  • Assist with building and improving Tenstorrent’s security infrastructure across vulnerability management, application security, cloud/SaaS security, identity and access management, and endpoint security.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to help strengthen the organization’s overall security posture.
  • Contribute to security operations, documentation, and process improvements.

We are looking for a motivated Security Engineer Intern to assist in managing and maintaining our Security and IT infrastructure. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a broad spectrum of Information Security domains as you work to expand your skills and experience.

This role is on-site, based in our Toronto, ON office.

Who You Are
