Job summary

Commissionaires BC is seeking a security professional to work weekends at the Xenon office site in Burnaby. The role involves patrols of interior and exterior areas, access control, CCTV monitoring and incident reporting. A BC Security License and OFA 1 are required, with fluent English skills.

On-site training and growth opportunities are provided. The position offers weekend hours (Saturday and Sunday 8am–4pm) with a wage of $21.50/hour, and uniforms are provided.

Qualifications

• BC Security License is required.
• Basic First Aid (OFA 1) is required.
• Fluent English written, verbal and reading skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service to our client and site users.
• Perform regular exterior and interior patrols, including mechanical rooms and labs.
• Equipment alarm response and monitoring.
• Provide access control as per site regulations, including issuing of access cards.
• CCTV monitoring.
• Investigate security incidents, escalating as necessary.
• Maintains a safe environment for all personnel and the public.
• Act as a line of emergency response and provide first aid to all site users in a prompt, easily accessible and appropriate manner.
• Report all incidences to the Site Supervisor and provide investigation report.

Your Must-Haves:
