Job summary

Commissionaires BC in City of Richmond is seeking a security guard for a 4-month temporary full-time or casual position. Shifts run Monday to Friday 2200–0600 and Saturday & Sunday 2200–0600, offering steady hours and competitive pay.

The role includes access control, patrols, emergency response, and event support. Eligible candidates hold a BC Security Licence, a Basic First Aid certificate, and a Class 5 Driver's Licence, with uniforms provided and training offered.

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and providing solutions by acting as a liaison between the site and the general public.
• Keep site clean, tidy and a safe environment for all.
• Conducting scheduled and unscheduled security patrols, including checkpoint tours.
• Following specific emergency and alarm response protocols.
• Performing facility lockup and unlock services
• Conducting site checks and inspections
• Monitoring and supervising City facilities and property
• Access control and visitor verification.
• Providing security support for City events.
• Performing other security related duties as requested.

• Saturday & Sunday 2200 - 0600

Payrate:

$25.55/hr
