Overview

As a Surveillance Security Guard, you will be the person spotting threats before they escalate in environments such as a security operations centre, call centers, parking gatehouses, etc.

We are seeking an experienced Security Guard to join our dynamic, growing team in Orillia, Ontario. In this role you will showcase your vigilance and attention to detail as you provide a safe and secure environment for our client's assets and property. Successful applicants will have a background in security or customer service and be able to work the schedule below. As this role will also see you driving a company vehicle, an Ontario G2 or G license is required.

Pay Rate: $20.50/Hour

Please note that all applicants must be able to work both shifts.

Responsibilities for Surveillance Security Guard

• Drive company vehicle for site patrols.
• Conduct mobile and foot patrols of premises.
• Monitor site conditions, gates, and fences.
• Work independently during night shifts at an isolated/abandoned site.
• Control access and verify visitors or contractors.
• Respond to alarms, emergencies, and suspicious activity.
• Report incidents and complete daily activity logs.
• Communicate with supervisors as needed.
• Check and maintain security equipment and vehicles.
• Identify and report hazards or maintenance issues.
• Follow company policies and safety procedures.
• Maintain professional appearance and conduct.

Qualifications for Surveillance Security Guard

• Be authorized to work in Canada
• Hold a valid security license
