Allied Universal is seeking a Security Guard to join our Security Operations team in Winnipeg, Manitoba, at a Shopping Mall site. This part-time role requires protecting assets, controlling site access, patrolling, monitoring CCTV, and documenting daily activity logs.

The candidate should have a Manitoba security guard license, class 5 driver’s license, strong communication skills, and the ability to work Mondays through Fridays, 6 PM to Midnight, in various weather conditions.

• Must be eligible to work in Canada over 30 hours per week
• Proficient using computers
• Experience with report writing and note-taking
• Familiarity with access control systems and alarm monitoring

• Ensure safety and emergency procedures are followed in response to alarms and emergencies
• Undertake site-specific training and follow directions from Site Supervisor or Manager

• Meticulous record keeping and report writing
• Operate/monitor security room equipment and site training

Allied Universal is seeking professional and highly motivated Security Guardto join our Security Operations team in Winnipeg, Manitoba at a Shopping Mall site.

This role is ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented, thrive in fast-paced operational environments, and are committed to delivering exceptional security services. The successful candidate will be responsible for protecting valuable equipment, materials, and unfinished structures from theft, vandalism, and trespassing. Their core duties involve controlling site access, conducting routine perimeter patrols, monitoring digital surveillance systems, checking for safety or fire hazards, and documenting daily activity logs.

Position Details:

Title: Security Guard

Location: Winnipeg, MB

Employment Type: Part-Time

Pay Rate: $17 per hour

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Shifts: 6 PM to Midnight

Qualifications:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with access control systems and alarm monitoring.
• Experience with report writing and note-taking.

• Valid Manitoba security guard license.

• Access control for the facility/area
• Present a polished, professional, customer friendly image at all times
• Ensure that the facility’s safety and emergency procedures are followed in response to fire alarms and other site Emergencies
• Undertake site specific training, follow direction and guidance from Site Supervisor or Manager
• Demonstrate goodjudgment, common sense and decision-making ability, particularly when required to take charge and direct others in emergencies or other incidents
• Meticulous record keeping, report writing, observation skills excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Operate/monitor security room equipment, Completion of site required training
• Vehicle Gate and Console duties
