Job description

Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, ensuring the security and safety of client property and personnel. Conducts periodic patrols to check for irregularities, inspect protection devices, and fire control equipment. Maintains order and may enforce regulations and directives concerning personnel, visitors, and premises. Controls access to the site or facility through the admittance process. Patrols the assigned site on foot or in a vehicle, checking for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security violations, blocked entrances and exits, mechanical issues, and unauthorized persons. Protects evidence or scenes of incidents such as accidents, emergencies, or security investigations. Responds to incidents including fire, medical emergencies, bomb threats, flooding, water discharge, elevator emergencies, hazardous materials, inclement weather, and others. Prepares logs and reports as required. Specific duties may vary and be documented separately. Not all functions listed may be required, and additional duties may be assigned or modified according to business needs.

Job Requirements

• Physical and mental requirements of this job include seeing, hearing, speaking, and writing clearly, with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Occasional reaching with hands and arms, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling.
• Frequent sitting, standing, and walking, which may be required for long periods and may involve climbing stairs and walking on inclines and uneven terrain.

• Must meet and maintain any applicable licensing requirements for Security Guards.
