Job summary

Charco Industries inc. is seeking security officers for on-call assignments in Chibougamau. Roles include detainee monitoring with SQ coordination, corporate security duties such as rounds and access control, and event security for festivals and public gatherings.

Qualifications

Job description

CHARCO Security is looking for several motivated, versatile security officers who are available to work on an on-call basis and have access to a vehicle for a variety of assignments in Chibougamau.

If you are flexible, hold a valid driver's licence, have access to a vehicle at all times, possess a valid security guard licence, and live in Chibougamau, we would be pleased to receive your application.

Description of assignments:

• Detainee monitoring (in partnership with the Sûreté du Québec) : Camera surveillance with no direct contact. You will alert the SQ in case of suspicious behavior. The only contact with the detainee occurs during meal delivery, through a small window in the cell door, with no physical interaction.
• Corporate and commercial security : Preventive rounds, access control, customer service — tasks vary depending on the company’s needs.
• Event security : Ensure the safety of participants and the site during festivals, shows, and other public events.
