Allied Universal is seeking a Professional Security Guard in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

Job Title: Security Guard Floater

Job Location: Winnipeg, Manitoba

Job Type: Part-Time

Pay Rate: $16.30 - $18.10 per hour

Shifts: Monday to Sunday – Full Availability Required

Overview

Allied Universal is seeking an experienced Security guard to oversee security operations at our Canadian site in Winnipeg.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with access control systems and alarm monitoring.
• Experience with report writing and note-taking.
• Knowledge of CCTV monitoring systems.
• Valid Manitoba security guard license.
• Must be eligible to work in Canada for over 30 hours per week.
• First Aid and CPR
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent / GED, or equivalent work experience

Responsibilities

• Access control for the facility / area
• Present a polished, professional, customer-friendly image at all times
• Ensure that the facility’s safety and emergency procedures are followed in response to fire alarms and other site emergencies
• Undertake site-specific training, follow direction and guidance from the Site Supervisor or Manager
• Demonstrate good judgment and decision-making ability, particularly when required to take charge and direct others in emergencies or other incidents
• Meticulous record keeping, report writing, observation skills, and excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Operate / monitor security room equipment and complete site-required training
• Vehicle gate and console duties
