Allied Universal is seeking Professional Security Guard in Simcoe, Ontario.

Job Title: Security Professional

Job Location: Simcoe, ON

Job Type: Full‑time

Pay Rate: $20.00

Shifts: Shifts may vary - full availability is an asset - must be able to do rotational shifts.

Requirements

• Familiarity with access control systems and alarms.
• Experience with report writing and note‑taking.
• Knowledge of CCTV monitoring systems.
• Valid Ontario security guard license and driving licence.
• Must be eligible to work in Canada for 40+ hours per week.
• First Aid and CPR certification.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience.

Specific Duties Performed and Essential Functions

• Access control for the facility/area.
• Present a polished, professional, customer‑friendly image at all times.
• Ability to manage conflicts and incidents and to deescalate.
• Patrol and follow protocols as per the post orders, which may include indoor or outdoor patrols, manage the movement of guests at various points throughout the property, etc.
• Ensure that the facility’s safety and emergency procedures are followed in response to fire alarms and other site emergencies.
• Undertake site‑specific training, follow direction and guidance from the Site Supervisor or Manager.
• Demonstrate good judgment, common sense, and decision‑making ability, particularly when required to take charge and direct others in emergencies or other incidents.
• Meticulous record keeping, report writing, observation skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Operate/monitor security room equipment, complete site‑required training.
