AFIMAC is seeking licensed Security Guards for upcoming projects throughout the province of Ontario.

  • Please note this is a temporary contract position, so it may not be suitable to someone currently working full time.
Compensation & Benefits
  • $18.00 per hour before overtime.
  • Hotel accommodations provided when required.
  • $30 per diem when lodging required.
  • Contract length 1-120 days.
  • Approx. $1,872.00 per week while on assignment.
Assignments
  • Labour disruptions.
  • Organized protests.
  • Man‑made crisis/destories (crime scenes, structural fires, etc.).
Required Education, Skills, and Qualifications
  • Possess a valid security guard license in the province of Ontario.
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel on short notice within your home province for projects for extended periods (minimum 4‑week commitment).
  • Ability to work up to 84 hours per week: 12‑hour shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Able to sit, walk, stand, and/or drive for extended periods.
  • Able to read, write, and speak English.
  • Be a Canadian resident and legally entitled to work in Canada.
  • Previous experience dealing with confrontational situations and ability to de‑escalate with little to no supervision.
  • Excellent report writing skills.
