Job summary

Amazon Development Centre (London) Limited is seeking an experienced application security engineer to join the Application Security team in London. You will prioritize, communicate clearly, and maintain a high level of focus while shaping secure software across cloud, devices, and services.

You will work on reviews, secure architectures, threat modeling, AI-driven tooling, and guidance documentation, collaborating with development teams to improve security metrics and drive responsible

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• Knowledge of networking protocols such as HTTP, DNS and TCP/IP
• Experience programming in Python, Ruby, Go, Swift, Java, .Net, C++ or similar object oriented language
• Experience applying threat modeling or other risk identification techniques or equivalent
• AI/LLM-based automation of security workflows

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with AWS products and services
• Experience with any combination of the following: threat modeling, secure coding, identity management and authentication, software development, cryptography, system administration and network security
