A leading research organization in Canada is seeking a Security Analyst to support their Security Branch. Due to the nature of the work and operational requirements, this position is eligible for a hybrid work arrangement (combination of working onsite and telework). Employees in this position who telework will be required to travel to the designated work site at least three times per week or a minimum of 60% of their regular work schedule at their own expense.

We are looking for a Security Analyst to support our Security Branch. The Security Analyst would be someone who shares our core values of Integrity, Excellence, Respect and Creativity.
Reporting directly to the Senior Investigator, this position is responsible for coordinating security incident information, assessing security intelligence and assisting with investigations and supporting travel security.
The person needs to have a very high level of integrity and a complete commitment to confidentiality.

Successful completion of post‑secondary education in a field relevant to the position.
An acceptable combination of education, training and experience may also be considered.

A thorough security clearance process will be applied. Applicants must be a Canadian Citizen.
For a Top Secret Clearance, verification of background information over a period of 10 years is required. Individuals must have lived in Canada for a sufficient period of time to enable the security screening process.

For this position, the NRC will evaluate candidates using the following competency profile : Management Services
From $72,436 to $85,298 per annum.
In addition, the incumbent will receive the Bilingualism Bonus of $800 per year.
