Job summary

The Halton District School Board invites applications for Long Term Occasional teaching opportunities in Secondary Technological Education - Computer for the 26-27 school year. Positions are available as LTO contracts with 0.33, 0.67, or 1.0 FTE per term, and require Intermediate and Senior teachable qualifications with multiple senior subjects, plus OCT standing.

Applicants should be prepared to provide a vulnerable sector check and must possess OCT in good standing.

Qualifications

  • Must hold both Intermediate and Senior qualifications with at least two different Senior teachable subjects.

LONG TERM OCCASIONAL (LTO) SECONDARY CONTRACT OPPORTUNITIES FOR THE 26-27 SCHOOL YEAR

For the 2026-2027 school year, mutual agreement, or a temporary letter of approval may be considered for applicants who do not hold the minimum OCT qualifications required and stated on HDSB Secondary Ads.

(1 = 0.33 FTE, 2 = 0.67 FTE, 3 = 1.0 FTE)

Senior Computer Technological Education Qualifications Required
  • Must hold both Intermediate and Senior qualifications in combination with at least two (2) different Senior teachable subjects.
  • Must provide a Criminal Background Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening prior to employment.
  • Must have a valid OCT certificate in Good Standing with the Ontario College of Teachers.
