Overview

Second Cook responsible for coordinating special events, requisitioning food and kitchen supplies, preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes, managing kitchen operations, maintaining inventory, training staff, ensuring food safety and clean environments, and specializing in Filipino cuisine.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate special events.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies.
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes.
  • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas.
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food.
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment.

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 2 years in a kitchen or restaurant.
