Job summary

A leading engineering consulting firm in Toronto is seeking a Construction Inspector for seasonal work on diverse projects involving water pipelines and municipal facilities. The successful candidate will monitor construction activities, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and prepare progress reports. Requirements include a technical degree in construction and at least 5 years of experience, particularly in micro tunneling. A valid Ontario driver’s license is necessary for travel to sites. Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, including 2 years in micro tunneling.
  • Must have a valid Ontario driver’s license and vehicle.
  • Experience in vertical projects related to water treatment preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site presence during construction and monitor conformance.
  • Prepare daily and monthly construction reports and maintain records.
  • Review and address construction issues with project team.
