Job description

Collin Street Bakery is seeking seasonal workers to assist with warehouse and shipping operations at our historic downtown fruitcake plant. The Warehouse Assistant reports directly to the Warehouse Supervisor and is primarily responsible for picking, packing and shipping orders, along with other tasks as assigned. Attention to detail is necessary to succeed in this role.

Requirements:

Must be age 18yrs and older

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs

Must be able to stand for the duration of shift

Ability to read and write in English

Ability to work 40+ hours per week, with occasional weekend and overtime work.

Preferred:

Previous shipping or warehouse experience

Forklift experience is a plus

Schedule: Day Shift, Monday- Friday from 0830am to 5:30pm, with overtime and weekends possible.
