Job summary

Fountain Tire Calgary (Westbrook) is seeking Experienced Tire Technicians for seasonal tire-changeover work. You will install, balance, rotate, and repair tires for passenger and light trucks in a clean, safe shop environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as Tire Technician in an automotive shop is required.
• Working knowledge of passenger and light-truck tires and wheels is an asset.
• Customer-service focus with ability to develop and maintain relationships with team members and customers.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and provide a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to lift 25 kilograms regularly.

Responsibilities

• Install, balance, rotate, and repair passenger and light truck tires and wheels.
• Reset and repair TPMS as needed.
• Maintain tire service equipment on a regular basis.
• Complete specialty tire work (studding, retread, run flat, nitrogen, etc.).
• Assist in inventory management through documentation and annual counts.
• Prioritize safety for yourself and coworkers.

Overview

Fountain Tire Calgary (Westbrook), an established automotive repair shop, is looking for responsible and motivated individuals to join our team as Experienced Tire Technicians!

Please note: These are seasonal positions to support the busy tire changeover season.

You will be responsible for:

• Installing, balancing, rotating, and repairing passenger and light truck tires and wheels


• Resetting and repairing tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS)


• Maintaining tire service equipment on a regularly scheduled basis


• Completing specialty tire work which could include studding, retread, run flat, nitrogen, etc.


• Assist in inventory management through documentation processes and annual inventory counts


• The responsibility to keep yourself and your coworkers safe

What does it take to get on track?

• Previous experience as a Tire Technician in an automotive shop is required
