You will be a part of our People Advisory Services (PAS) practice within the Mobility Tax group. Our PAS practice provides high-quality compliance and advisory solutions to help our clients drive organizational success through human capital. Take on this challenging and rewarding role as a Seasonal Tax Reviewer and gain valuable experience while collaborating with a team of tax professionals dedicated to excellence. You will perform detailed review work on both Canadian and/or US personal tax returns for internationally mobile employees of our global international clients.

Your key responsibilities

• Review personal tax returns;
• Research client issues that arise from compliance work using a variety of online sources;
• Correspond with managers, staff and/or clients in answering clients’ specific personal tax queries or about matters that arise from compliance;
• Demonstrate professionalism through a positive and cooperative attitude and by maintaining the confidential and proprietary nature of client relationships and related work products.

Skills and attributes for success

• 2+ years previous experience reviewing Canadian and/or US personal tax returns
• Attention to detail, excellent organizational skills and strong verbal and written communication skills;
• A positive attitude and the ability to work under pressure;
• If performing US tax work, the ability to obtain a US PTIN number;

Ideally, you’ll also

• Possess knowledge of TaxPrep or CCH software would be an asset;
• Bring previous experience with tax research tools would be an asset.
