Job summary

UPS in Drummondville is seeking a temporary and seasonal part-time delivery driver. You will use your own vehicle to retrieve, load, and deliver packages in residential areas, working 3-5 hours daily with shifts typically between 10:00 and 19:00, Monday through Friday.

The role involves physical activity, including lifting and carrying packages in a fast-paced outdoor environment. Compensation is CAD 19 per hour, plus a mileage reimbursement of CAD 0.59 per kilometer driven.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Valid class 5 driver's license.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs./32 kgs.
• Excellent customer contact and service skills.
• Must be willing to use personal vehicle to transport and deliver packages.
• Bilingual ( French and English).
• Vehicle registered in candidate's name.
• Valid vehicle insurance.

This position is a temporary and seasonal Part‑time role requiring use of one’s personal vehicle to deliver packages primarily in residential areas. Employee performs in a physical, fast-paced, outdoor position involving continual lifting, lowering, and carrying packages.

Responsibilities

• Retrieves, loads packages into personal vehicle, and delivers packages to customers.

Shift

Must be Available Monday to Friday between the hours of 10am - 7pm to work minimum 3-5 hours - Normally the start time is between 10am and Noon

Compensation

Hourly Rate: $19/h

UPS will reimburse you 0.59$ for each kilometer you drive
