Job summary

Hickory Farms in North Bay seeks a Store Manager to lead a single kiosk, train staff, and deliver a gourmet shopping experience to guests. You will stock and supervise the kiosk, meet daily and yearly sales goals, and uphold brand standards in a busy mall setting with other associates and guests.

• Plan to work all Saturdays before Christmas; comply with loss prevention procedures.
• Experience in management/sales is an asset; background check required.
• Dress code: Hickory Farms apron, dark pants/skirt, white shirt; cash deposits responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage one store/kiosk, ensure team is well trained and delivers a gourmet shopping experience.
• Oversee stocking and appearance of the kiosk and meet daily/yearly sales goals.
• Hire and train sales associates; coordinate scheduling and issue resolution.
• Inspect for loss prevention, handle cash and deposits, and ensure policy compliance.
• Lead by example in selling and sampling to drive guest engagement.

Our best selection of products can be found at our Holiday Gift Centers in shopping malls across the country during the holiday season. You and all the members of our retail operations are the forefront of a very important Hickory Farms team, TEAM PREMIUM. The foundation of our success is based on the quality of our associates. It is our desire that our Brand Champions lead the team in providing our guests with a gourmet gift buying experience to remember. We are looking for professional, brand conscious, guest-service and sales driven people to fill Store Manager Positions.

Store Manager / Brand Champions are responsible for managing one store/kiosk. Specific duties include: ensuring that their team is well trained, actively providing a gourmet shopping experience to all of our guests and prospective guests by offering samples and assisting in guest’s gift purchasing needs, stocking and overseeing the stocking of the kiosk, representing the high standard of Hickory Farms, and meeting the daily and yearly sales goals. Strong leadership and communication skills are required. Computer skills are a plus. Work hours will vary and the job requirement dates are mid-October through the holiday season.

• Kneeling, bending and lifting 20 – 35 pounds on a regular basis to stock product in the kiosk
• Leading by example – guiding the sales associates in creating and maintaining a gourmet shopping experience by sampling and selling every day, all the time and requiring the same from your staff.
• Plan to work all Saturdays before Christmas
• Comply with all loss prevention procedures
• Management/Sales experience is an asset
• Must successfully complete background check
• Sharing the Hickory Farms brand by wearing a Hickory Farms apron, dark pants or skirt and a long sleeved white collared shirt at all times
• You have the responsibility for depositing all cash received at the kiosk, and verifying the accuracy of float counts and amounts deposited.
