Job Posting: Seasonal Service & Sales Representative

Location: Greater Toronto Area (GTA)
Employment Type: Contract (Mid-April to September) with potential for full-time based on performance
Reports To: VP of Projects & VP of Business Development

About the Role: We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Seasonal Service & Sales Representative to join our team. This position plays a key role in establishing and maintaining relationships with our commercial outdoor swimming pool clients. You will conduct pre-season meetings, perform inspections during the pool opening process, and provide detailed reports and quotes for required services and repairs. This is a hands‑on, customer‑focused role that requires strong organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with commercial swimming pool operators.
  • Conduct pre‑summer inspections of facilities to identify any issues or repair needs.
  • Perform three key inspections at each client site:
    • Before pool opening – Assess the facility’s condition and discuss client needs.
    • After pool opening but before filling – Identify structural or equipment issues.
    • Once pool is full – Start the system and conduct a final inspection.
  • Provide clients with detailed reports that outline findings and recommendations.
  • Prepare quotes for services and repairs, including accurate measurements and pricing estimates.
  • Identify and communicate minor repair needs, with the possibility of completing minor repairs as required.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of services.
  • Maintain organized records of inspections, client communications, and sales activities.
  • Travel throughout the GTA to visit client sites as scheduled.
  • Work toward sales targets and contribute to overall business growth.
  • Once pools are open, conduct further inspections, quote additional work, and actively pursue sales opportunities in service, construction, and related areas.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Previous experience in sales, customer service, or commercial pool service is an asset.
  • Strong ability to build relationships and provide excellent customer service.
  • Highly organized and methodical with excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to identify potential pool‑related issues.
  • Capable of taking accurate measurements and preparing detailed quotes.
  • Hands‑on and comfortable with basic pool equipment and minor repairs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple site visits per day.
  • Valid drivers license and willingness to travel throughout the GTA.
  • Must have access to a reliable vehicle for travel to client sites.
