Job summary

Ardene is seeking a Seasonal Sales Associate for our Penticton store. You will deliver outstanding customer service, help merchandise displays, and handle sales at the register while keeping the store clean and inviting.

The role requires a friendly, energetic attitude and flexibility to work days, evenings and weekends in a fast-paced fashion retail environment.

Qualifications

• Friendly and energetic person with an interest in fashion retail.
• Willing to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds.
• Availability for days, evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers.
• Merchandise products and maintain store cleanliness and appearance.
• Assist in displays, replenish stock and process shipments.
• Process purchases at the cash register and follow policies.
• Support management with other tasks as assigned.

The Role

The Seasonal Sales Associate provides outstanding customer service, merchandises, generates and processes sales as well as maintains the store’s cleanliness and appearance.

Responsibilities Include:

• Ensuring outstanding service by creating a friendly environment. This includes greeting, acknowledging and re-approaching every customer, and being knowledgeable about products.
• Staying up to date on the most current sales and promotions.
• Assisting in merchandising displays and store cleanliness.
• Replenishing merchandise, monitoring floor stock and processing shipments.
• Processing purchases at the cash register.
• Adhering to all company policies.
• Other tasks as assigned by the management team.

Physical requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods and climb a ladder;
• Move, lift and handle boxes of merchandise and fixtures throughout the store (weighing up to 30 pounds).

AvailabilityRequirements:

• Days, evenings and weekends.
