Job summary

Bass Pro Shops in Barrie, Ontario is seeking a Part-time Receiving Outfitter to support backend operations including receiving, warehouse, inventory control, replenishment, stocking and maintenance, reporting to the Back Room Department Manager.

The role requires handling customer inquiries, data entry, and coordinating with contractors, while maintaining accurate records and timely communications in support of underground subdivision projects.

Qualifications

• Requires knowledge of mathematics to prepare data for estimates and variances.
• Requires basic knowledge of electrical theory for installation reports.
• Requires knowledge of staking data to assist in emergencies.
• Requires knowledge of computer operation and data processing.
• Requires knowledge of English to communicate and prepare documentation.
• Requires general office experience with cost and account distribution.
• Requires ability to handle queries and complaints from the public.
• Requires experience in area lines, forestry and customer service.
• Requires experience interpreting staking data and preparing final sketches.
• A period of up to six years is considered necessary to gain this experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide advice to customers relative to new service regulations and subdivision design process.
• Respond to inquiries and complaints related to underground subdivision developments.
• Manage underground subdivision phone lines and mailbox; collect customer data.
• Prepare and send letters to customers and track project status.
• Prepare subdivision agreements and cost calculations.
• Operate computers to record, update, and report data.
