Job summary

A leading propane distribution company in Southwestern Ontario is seeking a Seasonal Propane Delivery Driver. You will be integral in delivering propane safely to residential and commercial customers. The role requires a valid Commercial Driver's License (DZ) and at least one year of commercial driving experience. This fixed contract role comes with full benefits and the opportunity for overtime, emphasizing safety and compliance in all operations.

Qualifications

  • Able to perform the physical demands of loading and unloading propane.
  • Experience delivering propane considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Load and unload truck with propane, adhering to all regulations.
  • Work with dispatch teams to develop routes based on geography.
  • Deliver product safely to residential and commercial customers.
  • Complete daily pretrip/post trip inspections and paperwork.
  • Report potential hazards to dispatch.
  • Ensure compliance with company and government policies.
  • Participate in team meetings and discussions.
  • Willingness to work evenings and/or weekends as needed.

Skills

Knowledge of propane

Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions

Education

Valid Commercial Driver’s license with airbrake endorsement / Class 3 License DZ

Job Summary : As a Seasonal Propane Delivery Driver, you will work with our Dispatch team to deliver product safely to our residential and commercial customers. Your goal will be to provide a meaningful and essential service to our Avenir Energy customers in a safety focused environment.

This is a fixed contract / Seasonal role with an expected end date in the Spring of 2026. The position includes full benefits and is eligible for over-time.

Responsibilities
  • Load and unload truck with propane, adhering to all Company and Governmental regulations.
  • Work with our dispatch teams to develop routes using your knowledge of geography, and the needs of our customers.
  • Deliver product to both our residential and commercial customers in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Complete daily pretrip / post trip inspections and all other paperwork required.
  • Report any potential hazards to dispatch.
  • Ensure compliance with all company and government policies and regulations.
  • Actively participate in team meetings and discussions
  • Work schedule will vary - need willingness to occasionally work evenings and / or weekends
  • Other duties as required by supervisor.
Qualifications
