Job summary

UPS is seeking a part-time Seasonal Helper in the Gatineau area to support a package driver by delivering and picking up packages on foot. Shifts run 3–5 hours daily, Monday to Friday, with start times between 10:30 AM and 3:00 PM. No driving is required.

The role is physical, outdoors, and involves lifting up to 70 lbs, with weekly pay at $18.15/hr. Training is paid, and opportunities for advancement exist within UPS.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work outdoors and in all weather.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs (32 kg) unassisted.
• Willingness to work 3–5 hours daily, Monday to Friday.
• No driving required.

Responsibilities

• Meet the UPS driver at the local meet point.
• Deliver and pick up UPS packages by walking.
• Learn and carry out UPS package handling and delivery methods correctly.
• Lift, lower and carry packages throughout the shift.
• Provide customer service at UPS drop boxes and customer locations.
