Job summary

FedEx Canada in Debert, NS is seeking a warehouse associate to load and unload freight, scan and sort items within the facility. The role requires physical endurance and the ability to operate basic equipment.

You must have a High School Diploma or GED; bilingualism is not required unless in Quebec. We provide required training, with a Monday–Friday shift from 5:15am to 10:00am. This is a temporary position up to 12 weeks, paying CAD 20.86 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be able to lift 70 lbs and maneuver packages up to 150 lbs with proper equipment.
• Must successfully complete all basic and recurrency training.
• Knowledge of FedEx Canada operations and Canadian Customs regulations is a plus.
• Driving responsibilities require a valid license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight, scan, and sort freight within the facility.
• Operate in a PC Windows environment as needed during duties.
