Hot Topic in Canada is seeking a Seasonal Key Holder to support the store leadership team in delivering an outstanding customer experience and helping fans get the merch they love.

You will train new recruits, assist with daily operations and sales targets, and contribute to a fun, fandom-driven store atmosphere. This in-store role requires energy, reliability, and a passion for music and pop culture.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a retail environment.
• Superpowers in providing customer service and selling.
• A High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Avenger like collaboration and communication skills, as well as Captain America-like leadership.
• Able to stand and move around during scheduled hours, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide an amazing shopping experience that will encourage customers to return.
• Step in and step up when needed; support store leadership when Manager is away.
• Understand store sales plan and comp sales goals; help drive sales by increasing key KPIs: UPT and ADT.
• Maintain visual standards; assist with opening and closing of the store.
• Process sales transactions and manage shortages or overages with the Store Manager.
• Assist with planogram changes including store map, wall, fixture, & merchandising mix.
• Communicate fashion and music trend information to management and HQ partners.
• Address theft prevention with Store Management to ensure store security.
• Keep stock room organized and the store tidy.
