Job summary

Cherry Hill Programs in Calgary is seeking a Shift Lead to support Santa photo sets and guest experiences. You’ll welcome families, assist with photos, and help run daily operations with warmth and leadership.

Responsibilities include opening/closing duties, leading by example, troubleshooting issues, and training team members. Opportunities to grow within our holiday division are available.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Team player who can work independently.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work during peak retail hours (evenings, weekends, holidays).
• Ability to process sales transactions and cash handling.

Responsibilities

• Perform opening and closing duties at assigned venue.
• Lead by example and reinforce policies and procedures by Operations Manager/Regional Manager.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and escalate to IT or Local Management when needed.
• Assist with training and/or recruiting as needed.
• Take photos and provide guests with memorable souvenirs to take home (photography experience not required).
• Provide excellent guest service throughout the experience.
• Participate as a team member, ensuring photo operations run smoothly and effectively.
• Engage with guests, staff, and coworkers in a friendly manner.
• Operate POS system and photography equipment.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
• All other tasks as assigned.

What You’ll Do:

What We’re Looking For

Knowledge, Experience & Skill

• Previous retail, service industry, or cashier experience preferred but not required
• At least 18 years of age
• Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds and stand for prolonged periods of time
