Job summary

Emcon Services Inc. in Canada is seeking an On-Call Seasonal Maintenance Worker/Operator for the Sudbury division Timmins Patrol Yard. The role requires operating highway maintenance equipment during summer and winter, with shift work and potential overtime.

Qualifications

Minimum DZ license in good standing.
AZ license preferred with proven experience.
Experience in Provincial and/or Municipal highway maintenance field.
Punctual and available to report to work (on-call) 24/7 as weather demands.
Physically able to meet all requirements and perform highway maintenance safely.
Non-unionized role.
Pay rate: $23 - $28 hourly.

Responsibilities

Carrying out assigned routine and non-routine highway maintenance operations from patrol centers.
Performing activities such as plowing, sanding, traffic control, emergency responses, and shoulder maintenance.
Completing/assisting on minor vehicle and equipment maintenance.
Other duties as assigned.
