Job summary

Dawson Road Maintenance is seeking a Seasonal Operator with a Class 1 or 3 license to safely navigate winter roads, perform snow and ice removal, and complete related duties to keep our roadways safe.

This temporary, full-time position reports to the Road Foreperson and may require travel within our province. Not a fly-in, fly-out role, with opportunities in Fort St. John, Montney, Hudson's Hope, and nearby communities.

Qualifications

• Must prioritize safety of self and others.
• Operate heavy equipment in all weather conditions.
• Able to perform unskilled manual work with physical effort.

Responsibilities

• Perform road maintenance tasks and related duties.
• Maintain equipment and logs.
• Assist with pothole patching and sign/bridge maintenance.
• Follow supervisor daily production schedule.
