Job summary

Kodiak Lawncare Inc. is seeking Grounds Maintenance Worker and Grass Cutter for a seasonal role in Carp, Ontario. 9 positions available, May–August, with full-time hours and a short probation. Wage is $22–$24 per hour.

Work at 1186 William Mooney Rd, Carp. No degree required; experience preferred in lawn care or grounds maintenance. Join a crew and contribute to high-quality outdoor service.

Qualifications

• Mow lawns and trim edges to maintain a professional appearance.
• Operate lawn care equipment such as mowers and trimmers.
• Perform tasks safely in outdoor conditions around vehicles and slopes.
• Reliable transportation to Carp, Ontario.
• Seasonal position from May through August with ~120 days.
• Work as part of a crew and support training of newer workers.

Responsibilities

• Mow lawns, trim edges, and maintain a clean appearance.
• Operate and care for lawn equipment such as mowers and trimmers.
• Follow safety practices around vehicles and slopes.
• General grounds maintenance: debris removal and site tidying.
• Learn lawn care techniques from experienced crew members.
• Load, unload, and organize tools for daily routes.
• Inspect turf and work areas for hazards before leaving a site.
• Communicate with supervisors, coworkers, and customers.
