Job summary

Brand Momentum Inc. is seeking a Seasonal Floral Merchandiser to support poinsettia and outdoor floral programs at Barrie/Orillia locations during the holiday season. This independent contractor role requires 12–21 hours per week on weekdays and involves independent visits to multiple stores.

You will maintain and refresh seasonal displays, groom poinsettias and outdoor florals, and ensure pricing and presentation meet standards. 6–8 weeks duration with flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of plant care is a plus, but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to lift and handle floral products and materials.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• Reliable transportation to visit multiple store locations.

Responsibilities

• Floral Display Maintenance: Organize and condense floral displays to maintain a neat, fresh, and attractive presentation.
• Plant Care: Water and care for flowers and plants according to their specific needs, ensuring they remain healthy and vibrant.
• Cleanliness & Organization: Keep the floral display area tidy, dispose of trash, and maintain a clean and organized environment.
• Pricing: Ensure floral products are correctly priced, with labels clearly visible.
• Call Reports: Submit detailed reports after each store visit, documenting the condition of displays, inventory, and any actions taken.

Floral Merchandiser (Independent Contractor)

Poinsettia & Outdoor Seasonal Contract

About the Position

Locations: Barrie / Orillia

We are currently looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Seasonal Floral Merchandiser to support our Poinsettia and Outdoor Floral Programs at 3 retail locations throughout the holiday season for 12-21 hours per week on weekdays!

Job Overview

As a Seasonal Floral Merchandiser, you will be responsible for maintaining and refreshing seasonal floral displays, including poinsettias and outdoor holiday floral products. You will work independently at assigned retail locations and ensure displays meet presentation, quality, and merchandising standards.

Program Schedule

Outdoor Program:

• 3 visits per week
• Approximately 30 minutes per visit
• Initial setup: Approximately 3–4 hours

Poinsettia Program:

• 3 visits per week
• Approximately 1–2 hours per visit

Program Duration: Approximately 6–8 weeks between week of October 26th - Mid December.

CAR REQUIRED

Starting Rate: $20/HR
