Job summary

A local government entity in British Columbia is looking for reliable individuals for temporary seasonal roles in construction and utilities. Responsibilities include sewer and water system maintenance, trench excavation, and general labour activities. Applicants must hold a valid Class 5 BC Driver’s Licence and submit a current Driver’s Record. Compensation ranges from $32.93 to $40.00 per hour. Qualifications

  • Familiarity with driving pickup trucks or larger vehicles.

Responsibilities

  • Perform sanitary & storm sewer maintenance and construction.
  • Conduct water system maintenance including valve & hydrant maintenance.
  • Engage in trench excavation, shoring, and site rehabilitation.
  • Install and repair pipes.
  • Undertake general labouring and cleanup.
