Job summary

UPS Canada in Surrey is hiring a Delivery Driver Helper to assist the UPS Driver with on-foot parcel delivery in the Surrey/Langley area. This part-time seasonal role starts at 10:45 AM, with 4–5 hour shifts, Monday to Friday, ending December 2025 with potential extension.

You will lift up to 70 lbs, work outdoors in all weather, and use an electronic scanner to track deliveries. A positive attitude and customer service focus are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be able to deliver and pick-up packages by walking (on-foot) in assigned area.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 70 lbs.
• Able to operate an electronic scanning device.
• Must be able to meet with UPS Drivers at assigned meet points daily.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and pick-up packages by walking in the assigned area.
• Assist UPS Driver in delivering parcels on-foot.
• Assist in picking up parcels from UPS Stores and customer locations in the assigned area.
• Perform physical work in a fast-paced environment including lifting, lowering and carrying packages.
• Provide excellent customer service through efficiency and dedication.

Shifts

Monday to Friday starting at 10:45AM* (shift times may vary) and 4 - 5 hours per shift (shift hours will vary)

Employment

Part Time Seasonal Position (with various opportunities for permanent employment). Season will conclude at the end of December 2025 with a possibility of extension depending on delivery volume.

Pay Rate

$18.25 per hour

Qualifications

• Able to deliver and pick-up packages by means of walking (on-foot) and to work outside in all weather conditions;
• Able to occasionally lift 70-lbs unassisted
• Able to operate an electronic scanning equipment
• Must be able to meet with UPS Drivers in assigned meet points everyday
