Responsibilities

To provide courteous and efficient pick-up and delivery of packages on an assigned route; to check all shipments for conformance to Federal Express Canada features of service; to provide related customer service functions

Ramasser et livrer des colis de façon courtoise et efficace dans le secteur attribué; vérifier chaque envoi pour voir s’il respecte les modalités de service de Federal Express Canada; assumer des fonctions complémentaires de service à la clientèle.

• Livrer et ramasser les colis de manière efficace et prudente tout en représentant l’entreprise de manière professionnelle et en maintenant une apparence soignée, conforme à l’image publique de l’entreprise.
• Effectuer la sélection et l’inspection exactes et rapides des colis assignés, puis produire un rapport sur le nombre d’arrêts et les erreurs de tri.
• Suivre les pratiques recommandées et les procédures opérationnelles concernant les messagers et messagères, charger le véhicule et planifier sa tournée pour livrer ou ramasser efficacement les colis et veiller à la sécurité des biens de Federal Express et de ses clients, comme les colis, l’équipement et les véhicules.
• Chercher à obtenir plus d’envois de la part des clients actuels. Informer le Service des ventes des possibilités de vente et des changements dans le marché.
• Veiller à ce que les colis soient conformes aux modalités de service de FedEx, à ce qu’ils soient étiquetés convenablement et à ce que les documents soient lisibles et exacts. S’assurer que les clients ont une réserve suffisante de fournitures d’expédition de Federal Express.
• Faire fonctionner les systèmes informatisés de suivi et de répartition, en s’assurant d’y entrer les informations correctes
• Répondre aux questions des clients sur les modalités de service de Federal Express Canada et les tenir informés continuellement à propos de l’entreprise et de ses services de même que des exigences canadiennes, américaines et internationales.
• Démontrer sa connaissance des modalités de service et de l’équipement.
• Conduire un véhicule de façon prudente et efficace, en respectant toutes les réglementations gouvernementales et procédures de l’entreprise.
• Peut être appelé·e à charger ou à décharger des avions, des conteneurs ou les deux, peut aussi devoir trier et scanner des colis, selon les besoins et la charge de travail de la succursale.

• Provides efficient and safe delivery and pick-up of packages while representing the company in a professional manner and maintains a neat and clean appearance consistent with the company's public image
• Accomplishes accurate and timely selection and inspection of assigned packages and the subsequent reporting of stop counts and missorts
• Adheres to Courier Best Practices, operating procedures, loads van and plans route for efficient delivery and pick-up of packages and ensures proper security of Federal Express and customer property, such as packages, equipment and vehicles.
• Seeks additional business from current customers. Informs sales department of sales leads and market changes.
• Ensures that packages conform to Federal Express Canada features of service, that proper labelling is provided, and that all paperwork is neat, accurate and ensures customers have adequate supply of Federal Express shipping materials.
• Operates computerized tracking and dispatch systems ensuring input of correct information
• Answers customer's questions on Federal Express Canada's features of service and continually keeps customers informed about the company and its services as well as Canada, US and International requirements.
• Demonstrates proficiency in features of service and equipment.
• Operates vehicle safely and efficiently, complying with all government regulations and company procedures.
• May perform aircraft and/or container loading/unloading and sorting and scanning of packages, as location and workload dictate.
