Job summary

Carter’s in Toronto is seeking a Seasonal Associate to be the first face of the brand for growing families. Welcome customers, help with product styles, and guide them through promotions in a busy retail environment.

You’ll support omnichannel needs, execute POS transactions, stock shelves, and maintain a clean, safe store while delivering friendly, solutions‑oriented service on a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Customer-focused service experience is preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
• Comfort with multitasking in a busy retail setting.
• Capability to lift up to 40 pounds when needed.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with a warm greeting and assist with products and promotions.
• Resolve issues promptly and help customers across omnichannel channels.
• Execute POS transactions and balance registers accurately.
• Complete stock replenishment and maintain a clean, safe store.
• Highlight current promotions and Carter’s loyalty program.

What you’ll do: Welcome customers with a warm greeting and provide assistance with our product styles, features, and benefits Confidently and proactively resolve issues for customers and balance a number of customers in a busy retail environment Meet customer needs by assisting with omnichannel as needed to ensure a positive shopping experience Execute and expedite point of sale/register transactions Complete floor replenishment and shipment as needed Articulate current promotional events and the brand loyalty program to customers Minimize store loss by providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a safe, clean store Qualities we’d love in a candidate: A positive and solutions-oriented mindset Demonstrated customer service and engagement skills Effective and professional verbal and written communication skills The ability to manage multiple tasks at once You can: Lift 40 pounds as needed, with frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pulling Stand or walk for extended periods of time; climb up and down a ladder Provide availability that may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled Carter’s for all: Carter’s is an equal opportunity employer and encourages all interested and qualified candidates to apply. Compensation for this position ranges from $18.20 - $18.20 per hour based on experience and location.
