Carter’s | OshKosh is hiring a Seasonal Associate to be the first face of the brand for growing families. You will greet customers, explain products, and help them prepare for school and parenting milestones.

This role offers a chance to work in a friendly, inclusive environment with opportunities for skill growth. You’ll support omnichannel shopping, handle POS transactions, and participate in stock replenishment while delivering excellent service and maintaining store standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail customer service is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and assist with product styles, features and benefits.
• Resolve issues for customers and manage multiple customers on the sales floor.
• Assist with omnichannel needs to ensure a positive shopping experience.
• Process sales transactions at the register.
• Restock floor and assist with shipments as needed.
• Explain current promotions and loyalty programs to customers.
• Maintain a clean, safe store and minimize loss.

What you’ll do:

• Welcome customers with a warm greeting and provide assistance with our product styles, features, and benefits
• Confidently and proactively resolve issues for customers and balance a number of customers in a busy retail environment
• Meet customer needs by assisting with omnichannel as needed to ensure a positive shopping experience
• Execute and expedite point of sale/register transactions
• Complete floor replenishment and shipment as needed
• Articulate current promotional events and the brand loyalty program to customers
• Minimize store loss by providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a safe, clean store

Qualities we’d love in a candidate:

• A positive and solutions-oriented mindset
• Demonstrated customer service and engagement skills
• Effective and professional verbal and written communication skills
• The ability to manage multiple tasks at once

You can:

• Lift 40 pounds as needed, with frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pulling
• Stand or walk for extended periods of time; climb up and down a ladder
• Provide availability that may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled

Compensation for this position ranges from $17.60 - $17.60 per hour based on experience and location.
