Overview

Position: Seasonal Ambassador

Hours: 0-39 hours/week

Type: Contract Role

Seasonal Ambassadors at Lush are experts in product and brand knowledge, providing exceptional customer consultations and product demonstrations. They cultivate strong team relationships and contribute to shop excellence in sales and operations, surpassing daily sales goals while creating a fun and inclusive environment.

For Seasonal Ambassadors, it’s about making a positive impact on the world while delivering personalized product recommendations and sharing expertise to create memorable experiences for every shopper.

Responsibilities
  • Sales and Customer Experience: Driving sales by using StoreForce dashboard results, seeking feedback, and taking ownership of personal results to contribute to the store’s overall sales.
  • Customer Experience: Consistently deliver a world-class experience to every customer. Connect with customers, identify needs through active listening and open-ended questions, demonstrate product benefits, and seek opportunities to enhance each customer’s day.
  • Building the Brand: Educate customers on brand values (Fighting Animal Testing, Freshest Cosmetics, Ethical Buying, 100% Vegetarian, Handmade, Naked Packaging). Articulate these values in-store and through community engagement to drive traffic and inspire involvement.
  • Product Passion: Continuously expand product knowledge, stay up-to-date on ingredients and benefits, and confidently make informed recommendations.
Team Involvement
  • Development: Use Lush resources to develop sales techniques and product knowledge, support team growth, and increase sales. Seek feedback and opportunities to improve skills.
  • Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB): Encourage open communication, listen to diverse perspectives, promote belonging, and recognize each team member’s contributions.
Operational Excellence
  • Time and Attendance: Be punctual, reliable, present, participate in teamwork, and stay informed about company updates.
  • Visuals and Merchandising: Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store.
  • Stock and Inventory: Use Visual Merchandising guidelines to adjust displays based on sales to improve the customer experience.
  • Policies and Procedures: Follow company standards for opening/closing, product integrity, respectful workplace, and health and safety.
Qualifications

Required:

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Flexibility to adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge and passion for skincare, natural beauty, and ethical business
  • Flexible schedule to accommodate store needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Preferred:

  • Experience with consultation-based customer service
  • Strong problem-solving skills for day-to-day operations
  • Experience working in a team setting
  • Experience in skincare or cosmetics
  • Experience in cross-cultural collaboration and DEIB or social justice training
  • Fluency in Spanish, French, or other languages

Pay: $19.50 CAD
