Job summary

A seafood processing company in British Columbia is seeking individuals for seasonal, full-time positions. Responsibilities include cutting, cleaning, and trimming fish and seafood as per specifications. Candidates must be permanent or temporary residents of Canada with a valid work permit. Teamwork and experience in fish processing are preferred. The role is located on-site with no remote option.

Qualifications

  • Experience in handling and processing fish is an asset.
  • Must be authorized to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

  • Cut and weigh fish fillets according to specifications.
  • Cut, clean, and trim fish or seafood prior to marketing or further processing.
  • Inspect fish fillets to determine the optimal number and size of fillets.
  • Scrape away scales, cut fish, separate fillets and remove scrap parts using knife.
  • Disjoint and remove meat from lobsters or other crustaceans.
