Responsibilities

We are looking for an SDET Engineer to join our QEA Team in a permanent role. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in Java-Selenium and API automation testing. If you are passionate about building scalable, efficient, and maintainable test automation frameworks we want to hear from you!

• Design, develop and maintain automated test scripts using Java TestNG and Selenium.
• Design test automation scripts for UI, Web Services and APIs.
• Design the automation framework from scratch.
• Identifying, reporting, and tracking software defects, collaborating with development teams to resolve them.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment to ensure quality and meet project requirements.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on testing progress and quality metrics.

Qualifications

Required skills: what you need to be considered

• Overall 6-10 years of experience as an SDET or in a similar automation testing role.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on automation experience using Java, Selenium, Junit, TestNG, BDD Cucumber framework using Data-Driven, Hybrid, Page Object Model (POM).
• Must have 2+ years of exp. in API Testing Automation using Rest Assured.
• Strong understanding of Java programming concepts and object-oriented design principles.
• Experience in designing, implementing, and running test cases for functional and UI testing.
• Experience on CI/CD, Jenkins and Azure data pipeline (ADF).
• Proficiency in JIRA, ALM, Xray, Git, or other relevant test management/version control tools.
• Individual Contributor with good communication skills.

Preferred qualifications

• Should have experience in Banking Domain.
• Familiarity with database concepts and SQL for testing purposes.
