Responsibilities

• Demonstrate and instruct athletic, fitness or sports activities and techniques
• Keep logs and maintain records
• Assist with coordination of recreational, sport and fitness events
• Lead groups and individuals in recreational or leisure programs
• Plan and carry out recreational, fitness and sports activities
• Prepare reports
• Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
• Assemble supplies, sports and game equipment
• Monitor activities to ensure safety and provide emergency or first‑aid assistance when required

Qualifications

• Education: Other trades certificate or diploma; Diver, professional and instructor
• Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
• Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses: First Aid Certificate
