Job summary

DXP|Supply Chain Services in Stratford, Ontario is seeking a Storeroom Clerk to support daily warehouse and inventory operations. The role focuses on accurate order picking, inventory accounting, and proper stocking within the warehouse.

The incumbent will follow safety procedures, perform cycle counts, and record transactions in our warehouse system. 2nd shift from 3pm to 11:30pm with possible overtime; wage is CAD 22 per hour.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of related experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively with on-site SCS team members.
• Proficiency in MS Office, primarily Excel.
• High School Diploma or GED certificate.

Responsibilities

• Accurately accounting of inventory and resolving discrepancies.
• Receiving shipments, accurately verifying transactions and stocking inventory in correct locations.
• Following appropriate safety procedures.
• Performing cycle counts as systemically generated by our proprietary warehouse/distribution management system.
• Recording transaction data as appropriate in our proprietary warehouse/distribution management system.
• Maintaining a clean and neat work environment in your area of responsibility.
• Any other activities directed by the Site Manager.

Responsibilities of the Storeroom Clerk include, but are not limited to:

• Picking orders to customer demands and verification of order accuracy
• Accurately accounting of inventory and resolving discrepancies
• Receiving shipments, accurately verifying transactions and stocking inventory in correct locations
• Following appropriate safety procedures
• Performing cycle counts as systemically generated by our proprietary warehouse/distribution management system
• Recording transaction data as appropriate in our proprietary warehouse/distribution management system
• Maintaining a clean and neat work environment in your area of responsibility
