An educational board in Quebec is seeking a School Principal responsible for the administration of educational programs and resources for primary and secondary levels. Candidates must hold a relevant teaching diploma and have at least eight years of experience. Fluency in two of the three official languages (Inuktitut, English, French) and leadership experience in a cross-cultural environment are essential. Competitive salary ranges from $112,582 to $158,784 depending on qualifications and experience.
Under the authority of the Director of School Operations, the School Principal is responsible for the administration of educational programs and teaching resources at the primary and secondary levels of a school. The Principal is the educational leader of the school.
The Board may, at its discretion, waive any or all of the afore-mentioned qualification requirements if it finds a suitable candidate who is a beneficiary of the James Bay and Northern Québec Agreement and who accepts, as a condition of employment, to follow a training plan determined by the Board.
Class 00-10 (from $112,582 to $150,014) or class 00-11 (from $119,091 to $158,784) annually depending on school size, qualifications, and experience. All benefits are prorated based on the percentage of the task.
