Job summary

Parkland School Division seeks a licensed practical nurse (LPN) to support a medically fragile student at Ecole Meridian Heights School in Stony Plain. The role involves tracheostomy care, G-tube management, emergency response, and collaboration with families and staff.

35 hours per week, pay rate $38.72–$43.26 per hour. Requirements include Practical Nurse Program certificate and CLPNA registration; Non-Violent Intervention training is preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with current CLPNA registration.
• Experience with pediatric care and complex medical needs is an asset.
• Familiarity with tracheostomy care, ventilator management and pediatric G-tube operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical support and assistance to students with disabilities.
• Monitor and document student health and daily care needs.
• Collaborate with teachers and parents to support medical care plans.
• Support educational programming and provide classroom assistance as needed.
