Job summary

First Student in Ontario, Canada, is seeking a Part Time School Bus Driver to start mornings with student pickup and return trips in the afternoon. No nights, weekends, or summers required, with additional hours for field trips may be available.

No experience is necessary as we provide expert training and guidance to help you become a safe and professional driver for First Student.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must hold a full G license for at least 1 year.
• Part-time schedule with summers off.
• Enjoy working with students and maintaining safety.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school and activities.
• Supervise boarding and unloading; assist with seatbelts and mobility aids.
• Maintain order on the bus to prevent distractions.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Report mechanical issues and keep the bus clean.
• Obey traffic laws and company safety standards.
• Communicate with parents, school staff and dispatch about delays.
• Demonstrate leadership and customer service skills.

Your day as a School Bus Driver will include:
