Job summary

Standard Bus is seeking dedicated School Bus Drivers to join the Pender Harbour area team. This role offers job security, a flexible schedule, and the chance to make a difference by safely transporting students to school.

Work a split shift with approximately 2 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the afternoon, with routes primarily between 6:30-9:30 and 2:00-6:00. Spare drivers may cover any route, and a good knowledge of the surrounding area is essential.

Qualifications

• Class 1 or 2 driver’s license preferred; license upgrade training available for other classes
• Clear driver’s abstract with demonstrated safe driving record
• Clear criminal record and vulnerable sector check

Responsibilities

• Drive a split shift, approx. 2 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the afternoon
• Follow routes between 6:30 am–9:30 am and 2:00 pm–6:00 pm
• Cover regular and spare routes; spare drivers must navigate any route
• Maintain knowledge of the surrounding area to ensure safety of students

Job Description

As a School Bus Driver, you will work a split shift, driving approximately 2 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the afternoon. You will be assigned a route that falls between the hours of 6:30 am - 9:30 am in the morning and between 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm in the afternoon. Both regular and spare positions available. Spare drivers must be comfortable with navigation as they can cover any route. A good knowledge of the surrounding area is essential.
