Job summary

Bluewater District School Board invites applications for a 1.0 FTE permanent full-time Speech Language Pathologist. Work location: Education Centre, Learning Services – Student Support (with travel). Dates: commencing as soon as possible.

Salary: $95,242 - $98,742 (Sept. 1, 2025 rates). The successful candidate will provide screenings and assessments, collaborate with teachers and administrators, advocate for students, and contribute to program development.

Qualifications

• Masters in Speech Pathology with experience and demonstrated skills in an education setting.
• Member in good standing with CASLPO (College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario).

Responsibilities

• Screen students individually or in groups to identify those at risk.
• Conduct speech-language pathology assessments and consultations.
• Collaborate with teachers and administrators to identify student needs.
• Advocate for students to support academic success.
• Facilitate referrals with BWDSB staff and community partners.
• Participate in program development and review for school-delivered services.
• Engage in tier one education with staff on system initiatives.
• Maintain accurate documentation per CASLPO and BWDSB policies.
